I have just noticed that some new / newer horses are now available, that i haven't seen before.

Western Road:-
Horse 10,000 gold
War Horse 100,000 gold
Heavy War Horse 200,000 gold

Will these horses last beyond a server restart ?

Are the more expensive War Horses a lot better than an ordinary Horse ? I need to know why the Heavy War Horse costs 20 times as much as an ordinary horse please.

Is there anything i should know before buying my first horse please ? I have a couple of chars that have invested skill points in Ride and taken the feat Mounted Combat. I have also had experience playing a Paladin and getting a Summonsed Mount.

I know about the death problems that were addressed concerning Horse Hat deaths etc.

If you die on Horseback, can both you and your Horse be Rezzed ?

Will these horses degrade in any way with time ?

I need to make an informed decision about buying a horse, before parting with any gold

if i remember correctly, i think the differences between the horses is only a little bit of AC, HP, and attack damage. basically you'd only see the difference if you were unmounted and using the horse to attack stuff with. oh, they also look a little cooler, too.

beyond that, they should work just like any other horses - even the paladin ones. they don't degrade over time and are persistant if you log out while mounted or have him hitched.

i should have made each kind give you different bonuses when mounted, but bioware's horse system was so crappy that i didn't put too much effort into it. (gosh, i sound like preach used to)
