Sorry for the short notice, but our office is trying to isolate the source of some malware that is sucking up available vpn ip addresses each night. They would like to make sure it is not the dalakora box doing it.

Soooo, we are going to unplug the server at exactly 4:30pm, Central Standard Time, today, Monday, March 8, 2010. The server will remain offline until approximately 8:30am CST tomorrow. Unfortunately, these forums will also go down and will remain down during this same time frame. So, we are about to go around the dark side of the moon again. See you in the am.

If for some reason we don't come back up as scheduled, i will be in e-mail contact with the doodster-orama-broster so he should know what is going on.

Of course, if we find anything malicious on the box, there will be agressive high-pressure fluid rectal enema treatments administered to the box immediately, so not sure what will happen after that.

what will happen after that is the module will be reinstalled with the copy i'd archived back from the company move and the vault will be reverted back to this morning's copy.

I am pleased to report that the Dalakora box was exonerated and released from custody this morning. Although our problem remains, it is not being caused by the Dalakora box. So Party On dudes.

Thanks very much Churchboy, I thought it was a big crash since i couldnt read the notice and got really worried when pinging the box said no luck. I am very much relieved, I am a daladict again after all!

yeah, and sorry about the small timeframe of warnings or alternative method of sending them. since the server has to be manually started, i'm only just now getting around to it.

I was worried when I couldn't find the forums. I guess I missed the warning. Things have been so hectic here lately. The game is usually my stress reliever. I don't think I can handle much more bad luck.
